Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Force starring John Abraham, Genelia D’Souza, and Vidyut Jammwal and directed by the late filmmaker Nishikant Kamat completes 9 glorious years on September 30 this year. For the first time, the audience, especially fans of John Abraham were treated to a different level of action, coupled with the macho star’s combat with Vidyut Jammwal, launched by Vipul Shah.
Not just that, the action-packed blockbuster featuring the memorable scene of John lifting a bike scored supremely well in all aspects, be it gripping narrative, brilliant direction, superlative performances, and of course mind-blowing action. Most importantly it was Vipul Shah and John Abraham’s hit collaboration that made a solid impact at the box office and also resulted in the second installment of the hit franchise Force 2 released in 2016.
Talking about the movie completing 9 years, Vipul Shah says, “Force revolutionised the kind of action that we used to see on the big screen. All of us, including John, Vidyut, Genelia, and the late director Nishikant, had an amazing time working on the film and I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since the film’s release.”
Actor and International dancer Shantanu Maheshwari took to his social media to post an emotional and nostalgic throwback, marking 3-year of his Khatron Ke Khiladi trophy win! In a compilation of memories ranging from some amazing moments from the show with co-contestants, as well some of the dhamakedaar stunts he had performed so well and his winning moment announced by host Rohit Shetty, Shantanu has gone down memory lane to celebrate 3 years of his win!
Captioning the post, he wrote, "Being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi taught me that anything is achievable if you set your mind to achieving it! Grateful!", Shantanu highlighted the fact that the show taught him that achieving whatever is on his mind is an absolute possibility, if he just focusses on what he wants to achieve!

Following all necessary norms, actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has resumed work amidst the new normal. She shared a glimpse of her dubbing session for her upcoming project ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’ on her social media handle.
Fatima shared an image of her dubbing studio on her Instagram story and wrote, “Dubbing #surajpemangalbhari.”
She will be essaying the role of a typical 'Marathi Mulgi', donning a proper traditional attire. Fatima will be seen working with Manoj Bajpayee for the first time.
Apart from Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, Fatima will also be seen in Ludo, helmed by Anurag Basu opposite Rajkumar Rao.
Sonu Sood has landed in Hyderabad to shoot after a gap of six months. During this time his life has changed completely. Says Sonu from Hyderabad, “It feels completely different. It’s totally magical on the set here in Hyderabad where I’ve come to shoot for Telugu film Kandireega. The way the cast and crew welcomed me…it was overwhelming. There are people constantly coming on the sets to meet me, and not just from Hyderabad but different cities. It feels so wonderful to have made a contact with people across India through my work and for them to come back and show me such love and respect when I am shooting as an actor.”
Sonu Sood’s role in Kandireega is no longer what it was six months ago. “Yes, it has been seriously and drastically modified. I now have a completely different role in terms of scope and impact. In fact the film’s DOP (director of photography) was just telling me that the film will get a completely different opening at the box office now. I think I’m blessed that I was chosen to do the work to help the distressed. My name as an actor helped me to help the needy. Now my name as someone who helps the needy may help my films.”
In-between shooting at Hyderabad Sonu is getting all his charity work done as usual. “Even this morning I lined up three surgeries. The night before I was up till 1 am talking to various members of my team to ensure nothing gets affected while I shoot. Nothing regarding my work with the distressed will change while I shoot for my film.”

BTS WEEK on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is getting better with each passing day. The world's biggest group, that hails from Seoul, South Korea, has been putting up some eye-grabbing performances all the way from their home for the viewers around the world. On their third day on the late-night talk show, BTS played fun games, sat down for a discussion with Jimmy Fallon, and gave a power-packed performance on 'Black Swan'.
Starting with a fun game and showcasing their competitive side, BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook played the game of Dance Your Feelings where all of them competed with Jimmy. Didn't it remind the fans of RUN! BTS variety show where all the members are always participating in games?
This was followed by a sit-down conversation with the host about their record-breaking success of their single 'Dynamite', their fans, high school memories, and the upcoming 'BE(Deluxe Edition)' album. Speaking of 'Dynamite' going No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100, Suga said, "We couldn't believe our eyes looking at the chart. It felt like a dream." The members echoed the same sentiments as all of them were in sync to say, 'Is this real?'
When Jimmy reminded Suga that his dream of going to the Grammys had come true, Jimmy further asked what it would mean to have a nomination. RM said, "GRAMMYs are truly the most honorable music awards that evaluate an artist's musical prominence and audience. So we all grew up watching the GRAMMY awards and we especially remember 2009, when T.I., Jay-Z, M.I.A performed. We saw all of them, then perform a presentation of a song of their own. Performing at GRAMMYs it is like our main goal and also a dream that naturally grew within us. Lastly, BTS took the center stage all the way from Seoul to perform 'Black Swan' from their record-breaking studio album 'Map Of The Soul: 7'. The grandeur and the magnum opus set was absolutely ethereal as the septet showcased their modern contemporary performance in all-black outfits. The lyrics go, "If this can no longer resonate / No longer make my heart vibrate / Then like this maybe how / I die my first death / But what if that moment's right now / Right now." All in all, BTS flaunted their super tight choreography, incredible synchronization, and more importantly how good they are during their live performances.
Yash Chopra is an enigma, an icon in the Indian film industry. The hailed film-maker has given audiences blockbuster films and was hugely lauded for his progressive style of cinema. His body of work includes cult classics like Daag, Deewar, Lamhe, Silsila, Chandni, Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai, Veer-Zaara, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, to name a few. For those who knew and worked with Yash Chopra, the man behind the legend was equally fascinating.
Mahen Vakil became the first employee of Yash Raj Films when the iconic film-maker started his production house, 50 years back. Mahen’s journey with YRF and Yash ji saw him being promoted to become the Executive Producer of YRF. He unravels the icon, who he says promoted an atmosphere of equality at YRF and on the film sets, a culture that YRF firmly stands by even today under the leadership of Yash ji’s son Aditya Chopra.
Mahen says, “He never compromised on his work! When he would explain any scene to the artist, he would get so involved that you would wish Yash ji would rather perform it himself. His briefing to the actors was so clear and in such great detail that you would get the best performance out from them. Love stories these days are far different than what Yash Chopra used to make. His love stories are simply unparalleled.”
Mahen adds, “His films used to be very expensive because he believed in high technology and did not believe in compromising. What was made in 1965, even today if you look back, his set designs, costumes, etc are unmatchable. For him, the process to making a film was extremely pure. As employees, we were empowered to do what we want to because he trusted us to deliver for him. He left no stone unturned to achieve the scale, to make the film he wanted to make.”
Talking about how Yash Chopra was on the sets, Mahen reveals, “Yashji was full of life! He would consider everyone equal! He used to be there on set 1.5 hours prior to the shift time and would stand with folded hands near the gate and notice what time everyone was entering! It didn’t look nice to enter after the boss has entered, so we would all make it a point to reach earlier. Would you ever see such an atmosphere on today’s set?”
For Mahen, his most favourite Yash Chopra movie is Lamhe, which released in 1991. The incredible film starred Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in lead roles and was about the power of life-changing love. “My personal favourite, any day, is Lamhe! It didn’t work as much because it was ahead of its time and it was not so easily acceptable then but it is a cult film now! Yashji made the movie so wonderfully. He made it with all his heart!” he says.
For someone, who touched the dizzying heights of success, Yash ji was an extremely people’s person. He says, “He was a man with a kind heart! One could hurt him very easily and he was very close to his staff and that created a healthy environment. That’s the reason his staff worked for him for several years.”
