"I would continue to work in the South" - says Taapsee Pannu at IFFI Goa

Taapsee Pannu has carved her own niche in Bollywood, solely banking on her own performance. It won't be wrong to say that she is one of the most versatile actors of the present time. Her first stint with acting however happened in the Telugu industry as she debuted with Jhummandi Naadam. While she keeps delivering strong performances in Bollywood, Taapsee is grateful that the South industry happened to her, and would like to continue working.

"I would continue to work in the South": Taapsee Pannu at IFFI Goa

"I have gratitude for the south industry. At no point I wanted it to look like I used it as a stepping stone of Bollywood. They taught me what basics are like camera and acting. Now I have learnt the language too. It will be really stupid of me to give it to that market. I would continue to work in the South,' she said. The actor was talking to the media at the 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa.

Taapsee Pannu, who was last seen in Saand Ki Aankh alongside Bhumi Pednekar, will next feature in Anubhav Sinha's Thappad. Taapsee is also a part of Akarsh Khurana's Rashmi Rocket.
