Actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30 after a prolonged battle with leukemia. The actor's last rites were carried out amid nationwide lockdown with only a few family members and close friends in attendance. But, his daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni couldn't make it since she lives in Delhi with her in-laws.
After seeking permission to travel via road, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni reached Mumbai with her family on May 2. She was seen with her daughter Samara on Saturday night. Since flights and trains have been stopped amid lockdown due to Coronavirus, she travelled by road which is a 1,400 km-journey.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared an emotional message for her father with a photo. The message read, "Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you every day I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! Until we meet again papa I love you - your Mushk forever."
While she couldn't be present for his funeral, she was on a video call the entire time. Riddhima took to social media and posted an Instagram story the other day and wrote, "Driving home Ma. Enroute Mumbai."
Rishi Kapoor was survived by Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
