Before Sanjana Sanghi became Kizie Basu, she played the role of Mandy in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar. The movie still happens to be one of the masterpieces we had seen that year and the trio of Imtiaz Ali, Ranbir Kapoor, and A. R Rahman did wonders as we all expected. From music to its script, this movie is etched in our hearts even after all these years. Sanjana Sanghi played a pivotal role in the film and was Nargis Fakhri’s younger sister, Mandy.
Her upcoming film with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput is super special since this is the last time that we will get to see him doing what he absolutely loved. With mixed emotions, we’re all looking forward to watching Dil Bechara, which is the official Hindi remake of John Green’s famous novel, The Fault In Our Stars. Imtiaz Ali took to his Instagram to share a picture with Sanjana and wrote, “little Mandy from Rockstar is a big girl now!!! looking fwd...”
Slated to release tomorrow at 7:30 PM, Dil Bechara is directed by Mukesh Chhabra.
